Costa french office and its french agency Wellcom have been selected by the EUROPEAN EXCELLENCE AWARDS 2009 for their operation "Blogs in cruise" performed in june on Costa Atlantica. As a reminder we brought 10 very popular and fashioned young women bloggers on Costa Atlantica last june , to discover the cruise and the Baltic Capitals. They had never tested the cruise neither were they much enclined naturally to go for this type of travelling. .. at the begining. But then they discovered and got to love the product. We had during the whole week of cruise daily and in live posts from them on their popular blogs, which brought lots of comments from internauts and cretaed buzz around. This operation demonstrated that the Costa product can appeal even to a young and very trendy audience which naturally would not support our product. We succeded in reaching a new target and helped move the old "cliché" of the cruise. Thanks’ to Wellcom, this selection recognise the pioneering and innovative sides of the operation.
