A BIT OF HISTORY...

2020

Wellcom changes its governance. As part of an MBO (Management Buy Out), agency founder Thierry Wellhoff passes the torch to Philippe Lucas, who becomes Wellcom’s new chairman and majority shareholder. The transition takes place thanks to the support and participation of the Crédit Mutuel Equity, CIC and BNP Paribas banks and four partners: Stéphanie Bastide, Caroline Langlais, Sylvie Aduriz and François Belz. Mr. Wellhoff retains a stake in the agency’s capital.

2019

The second edition of the Wellcom Observatoire du Sens , created with the institute Viavoice, pursues its analysis of the French population and meaning (given or perceived) of companies and their brands.

2018

Wellcom pursues its growth and strengthens its content production expertise by acquiring Analogue, an agency that focuses on corporate and multimedia editorial communication.

2016

Wellcom and La Maison Link, an agency deeply involved in the consumer and lifestyle spheres, unite their areas of expertise.

2014

Wellcom joins the international PROI network, the leading group of entrepreneurial agencies.

2012

Wellcom launches the Origami System®, a new, cutting-edge tool that gives communication more depth and meaning.

Publication of the Social Media Guide.

2011

Publication of L’entreprise en 80 valeurs (The Company in 80 Values). Publication in English of the book Les Valeurs (Values).

First French communication agency to receive international CMS (Consultancy Management Standard) certification.

Creation of two trailblazing approaches to communication tools. ADIR is a method of preparing media interviews (I affirm, I demonstrate, I illustrate and I summarise). High Touch is an approach to mapping and analysing publics by mixing several attitude axes (distrustful/trustful, active/passive) making it possible to define weight depending on the attitude of large groups of publics (Supporters, Passives, Opponents, Warriors).

2010

New edition of the Index International des Valeurs Corporate® (International Corporate Values Index) and publication of the book Les Valeurs (Values) by Editions Eyrolles.

2003

Publication of the first Values Index, a survey of French companies’ values.

2000

Wellcom and international agencies set up the London-based International ECCO Network.

1998

Wellcom structures its activity upstream at the consulting level and downstream at the operational level with two separate departments, one focusing on media relations and events, the other on advertising and operational marketing. BtoB and BtoC clients call upon all or some of the agency’s skills.

1988

Wellcom formalises its approach and publishes the first edition of La Démarche Valeurs (The Values Approach).

1981

Creation of WELLCOM, a communication consulting agency that intervenes from strategic consulting to implementing complete 360° communication plans.
